Last week in honor of Katie's First Saturday, I convinced her to go hiking with me. I wanted to head for the mountains and try out someplace new. So we decided on Mirror Lake up at Mt. Hood.
It was a bit cold, as the snow had started to set in on the mountain, but fortunately it hadn't reached our elevation just yet. The hike was great. Just enough elevatio
n to be a trek, but not too much to exhaust us. The fall colors were at their prime and there was no rain! Woo hoo.
