TWO MONTH OLD

Molly is two month old today. It hard to remember our lives before but it's also hard to believe she's already 2 months old! Our little peanut is getting bigger and changing every day. She has started to really respond and interact with us. Her newest trick to is to smile really big when you come and get her. It makes the 2am feeding much more manageable when that little smile greets you in the middle of the night. She has also perfected the sad face. She only resorts to the sad face when you misread her cues. When that happens her little lip start to tremble, her eye shut and she cries the saddest little cry. It breaks your heart and makes you want to laugh all at the same time. It is very effective!

She started this last month loving her paci but in the last few days has switched back to her hands. She always has her hands in her mouth, her whole hand. And when the whole hand will not fit into her mouth, she screams! We've noticed that she is very vocal when something is not going her way. Another example is when she is playing on her tummy time mat and she can't reach her toys. Luckily, she keeps trying when it doesn't work out. She may be loud but at least she determined!

The other big news is that we have set a tentative bedtime (between 7:30-8:00) and little Molly is sleeping in her crib at night. The mamas are enjoying have baby free time in the evening and not having our little grunter in our room at night. I love my little girl but she is the loudest sleeper. . . so off to her own room she went. It is working most nights and when it doesn't she comes and spends the night with her mamas and I get to cuddle that sweet girl all night.

Both mamas love cuddling their sweet girl, happy 2 months baby girl!
