Molly's one and only court appearance!
Now, Charlotte and Molly have always belong to each other and to me! We are luck to live in a state that understands that their is more to being a mama then gentics. But because our domestic partnership is only recognized in Oregon, Charlotte has no legal right to Molly outside of our state. So it was best to be safe and have all the t's crossed and i's dotted in our lives.
Which means today was Molly 's adoption day! Charlotte is legally Molly's mama no matter where we go. And we our a family that likes to GO! First trip we are planning is Texas. To all our family & friends in Texas we are saving our pennies so Molly can come and see you (her mamas are coming too but we know who you really want to see).
