Paci and the Bottle

Three weeks was the magic number. At three weeks the midwives and nurses all agreed that Molly could be introduced to a pacifier and bottle without causing her "nipple confusion." I was nervous about introducing Molly to a bottle because breast feeding was the one thing that had gone well since Molly's birth. The pacifer I was excited about because sometime that little girl needed something besides me to latch onto! You can see how excited Molly is about the pacifier.
Luckily bottle feeding went much better. She was a strange child and took the bottle from me better then Charlotte. (Most breast feed babies won't take a bottle from the "boob" mama.) But it didn't take long before Molly realized that bottle = food and would take the bottle from Charlotte no problem!

And the pacifier, it took a few days but she is a fan and her mamas are even a bigger fan!
