Katie and I went to explore a corn maize and pick out our pumpkins on Thursday. The maze was a muddy, mucky mess and the weather was kinda dreary and drizzling, but we are Oregon girls, so we came prepared for the fun despite the weather!
The maze took us about 40 minutes to get through cuz of all the mud (and the fact that a few times we deliberately took wrong turns so as to avoid field trip children), but at the end we got to pick out our pumpkins and climb a giant hay bale. Katie played King of the Hay and we got to relive a bit of childhood fun. It was a good day.
Later we celebrated Halloween by inviting Jessica N. over and carving pumpkins, frosting cookies and wishing for Trick-or-Treaters that never came.
