4 Dollar Tuesday

Today was discount day at the zoo!  Char was able to get off early so we headed over and spent the late afternoon at the zoo.  It was perfect as most people were leaving as we were arriving.   We even managed to score a great parking spot (a hard thing to do at our zoo).

Molly loves animals and enjoys watching the animals at the zoo.  The parrot exhibit was fun because you fed the birds, which means they get up close and personal.  Molly really wanted to get her hands on those birds. (Somehow, I managed to keep her fingers away from their beaks.)  She also enjoyed the penguins as the come right up to the glass.  She would squeal each time they swam by.  We were able to see quite a few animals before Molly fell asleep.  We went ahead and enjoyed the rest of the zoo while Molly was snoozing in her stroller. 

We end the day by having a picnic dinner at the park.  Molly looked so grown up sitting on my lap eating her mango, green beans and cauliflower.  It was a great day!
